About Rev. Benjamin Agard

Reverend Dr Benjamin Agard accepted the Lord at the age of twelve. A graduate of the Open Bible Institute of Theology, he obtained his Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry from Newport International University and served in full-time ministry for over thirty-seven years.

During his assiduous career, he pastored Laventille Open Bible for 10 years after his predecessor and mentor, Reverend Benjamin Hunte, died. While there, he oversaw the small group system which grew into full-fledged churches including Cornerstone Open Bible in Diego Martin, D’Abadie Open Bible, Apostle Calbert Mark’s churches in Latin America and Florida.

God also led him to establish a new ministry and Reverend Agard became the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Open Bible Church on the Rock in Morvant, where he presently serves. Additionally, he has functioned on the National Board of Directors in various capacities and is currently the National Elder-Director for a fourth term.

Married to Kate Agard for forty-four years, he fathered five wonderful children, three biological and two adopted, one son-in-law, is a grandfather of three, and the Spiritual father of many. His passionate witness of the power of God in his life continues to impact those around him.
