Assistant National Elder-Director

About Rev. Fitzroy Griffith

Fitzroy Wilburn Griffith is a second-generation minister of the Gospel. He graduated from the Open Bible Institute of Theology in 1985, and took up the pastorate at the Tacarigua Open Bible Church (also known as Tacarigua Worship House) in July 1986 where he continues to serve as the Senior Pastor.

He’s happily married to Beverley, and they are the proud parents of three children.

Reverend Griffith has lectured at the Open Bible Institute of Theology in a variety of subject areas. He has served on the OBSC National Board of Directors in several spheres and currently holds the position of Assistant National Elder-Director.

Accessing the presence of the Lord through praise and worship is his passion. He places a high premium on the five-fold ministry, leadership, discipleship, church planting and ministering God’s Word.

His heart is to see Jesus’ church strongly built, filled with souls that are effectively discipled and keenly embracing the vision of their local house.
