The choir began in 1974 from the Youth Overcomers under the stewardship of Sister Hazel Gobin, the founder of Concert of Choirs.
Sister Hazel led the choir until 1992, when she and Pastor Gobin went to D’Abadie to become the leadership there.
Since the transition of Sister Hazel, Ingrid Marilyn Lewis has been spearheading the choir of Laventille Open Bible alongside Nslio John, Jillian Anthony, and Elizabeth Daniel Taylor.
Over the years, many people have come and gone, but the goal remains the same: functioning and ministering under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We continue to make ourselves available to Almighty God as we give Him all the glory for His keeping power.
