The Marabella Open Bible Choir was formed over 40 years ago, initially as a senior choir comprising mostly mature individuals. Later, the youths were incorporated, and this joint choir began ministering in the church. Back then, the youth choir sang every Sunday morning and night in church for approximately 20 years.
The Marabella Open Bible Choir has participated in Concert of Choirs for about 22 years since its inception. However, the choir had a long hiatus of over 12 years, which lasted until after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since the resumption of Concert of Choirs, Marabella Open Bible participated in the 2023 concert and partnered with the wider Region 3 choir in 2024 — reigniting a movement of anointed and exuberant ministry that is hoped to continue for another 22 years and beyond.
This year, Marabella OB, with the support of other singers in the region, is excited to lift up a high note of praise to the King of kings and Lord of lords!
